Life Turns Colourful

Love is in the air ,the sky is changing winter begins to bow out and the March winds are setting in,it's time to celebrate "Holi" the" festivals of colours" which carries us into bright shinny summer days.
Holi or Holika is said to exist centuries before Christ but with passing years its meaning has changed earlier it was a special rite performed by married woman for happiness and well-being of their families
A lot of sentimental values of my are attached with this festival. It reminds me of my childhood days when we were in Delhi(India) how with my friends and sibling use to gather woods(we use to start gathering one /two months earlier) for lighting a huge bonfire called"Holika",next day use to be filled with fun and excitement for us we took extreme delight in spraying water colouron each other with pichkaries and threw water balloons on passers by and shouted "Bura na mano Holi hai....."(don't mind its Holi)
Holi you know has a biological significance too ,it helps to rejuvenate not only our soul but our body systems too as we tend to feel lazy and sleepy due to the changing weather i.e.from cold to heat.the colours i.e "Abeer/gulal" strenghtens the ions in our body(which penetrates through the pores) and enhances our beauty and health
