Life Turns Colourful

Love is in the air ,the sky is changing winter begins to bow out and the March winds are setting in,it's time to celebrate "Holi" the" festivals of colours" which carries us into bright shinny summer days.
Holi or Holika is said to exist centuries before Christ but with passing years its meaning has changed earlier it was a special rite performed by married woman for happiness and well-being of their families
A lot of sentimental values of my are attached with this festival. It reminds me of my childhood days when we were in Delhi(India) how with my friends and sibling use to gather woods(we use to start gathering one /two months earlier) for lighting a huge bonfire called"Holika",next day use to be filled with fun and excitement for us we took extreme delight in spraying water colouron each other with pichkaries and threw water balloons on passers by and shouted "Bura na mano Holi hai....."(don't mind its Holi)
Holi you know has a biological significance too ,it helps to rejuvenate not only our soul but our body systems too as we tend to feel lazy and sleepy due to the changing weather i.e.from cold to heat.the colours i.e "Abeer/gulal" strenghtens the ions in our body(which penetrates through the pores) and enhances our beauty and health

Ailing Tuffy

We have got another dog its a leonberger just fifteen days back ,he is two years two months old .Tuffy was in a pathatic state infact my husband agreed to bring it home when he came to know that the dog was not eating and was on the verge of dying.Tuffy was literally in coma, suffering from acute anemia. My husband took it to the vet that very day he was on drips and anitbiotics for a week.My elder daughter use to carry him in her arms and take him for toilet , one day he passed his stool sitting my children gave him a bath with warm water and then took my hair drier to dry him.Frankly speaking it was my kids and my husband's effort that Tuffy is improving and is much better now.

P.S. We are his fourth masters'
